Our local Orvis store is running in-store two hour free tutorials for those who want to find out how to start fly fishing. The expert staff will take you through the basics of the equipment, how to cast, and where to go in the Test Valley to actually start fishing with this traditional but hugely enjoyable technique. The store also offers one day courses for the more advanced aspects of fly fishing, in a waterside location, which will greatly help you improve your technique and, all being well, make your fist catch. Current dates are 20th July, 18th August, 5th October, 26th October, with the all the dates prior to that fully booked.

There are however offers in the store for more experienced anglers with guided days on the Itchen for 2 rods from £160.00 and on the Test at Kimbridge from £250.00.
